BodyData terms of service
These terms describe what BodyData offers you, what we expect from you and what we are responsible for. If anything is unclear, write to info@bodydata.cz.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Who operates the service
BodyData is operated by BodyData s.r.o., company ID 29835470, registered at V zářezu 902/4, 158 00 Prague 5 – Jinonice, Czech Republic. We are not registered for VAT.
You can reach us at info@bodydata.cz or on +420 266 266 449. Below we refer to ourselves as “we” and to you as “the user”.
2. What BodyData is and is not
BodyData is an online account that keeps the results of your measurements from participating locations in one place. You can follow how the values change over time and decide who sees them.
BodyData is not a healthcare service. We do not provide medical care, make diagnoses or prescribe treatment. Measurement results are an indicative input for your own decisions about exercise, nutrition and lifestyle. If a value worries you or you have health concerns, consult a doctor.
We do not perform the measurement itself — the location you chose does. That location is responsible for how the measurement is carried out, for its quality, and for any services you pay it for.
3. Account and sign-in
You create an account by entering your email address. A completed measurement is not required — you can set the account up in advance.
You sign in without a password. We send a one-time PIN to your email, valid for 10 minutes. This also verifies that the address is really yours.
You are responsible for access to your mailbox and to the device you sign in from. Anyone who can read your email can reach your account.
Keep your details truthful and up to date. Some details can only be changed through us so that the change is reflected correctly in related records.
We may temporarily restrict access to an account for security reasons or on reasonable suspicion of misuse.
4. Where measurement results come from
Results reach your account from locations participating in BodyData — typically from InBody 970 and 970S devices, InBody InGrip, Max Pulse and the BPBIO750 blood-pressure monitor.
A measurement is never attached to your account automatically. You attach it — by scanning a one-time QR code at the location, or by confirming a link we send to your verified email.
Knowing your email or phone number is not enough for anyone to look you up, attach a measurement to you, or reach your results.
Every measurement keeps a record of when and at which location it was taken. That record cannot be removed — it is part of what makes the result meaningful.
5. Sharing your results
You can share your results with another person — most often a trainer or nutrition professional. Sharing is always started by you, through an invitation or a QR code.
You choose whether to share your whole history or only selected measurements. You can revoke sharing at any time, and revocation takes effect immediately.
We keep a record of access being granted and revoked, so you can check afterwards who you gave access to and when.
A location sees the measurements taken there. It reaches measurements from other locations only if you share them yourself.
Neither a location nor another user receives your contact details from us for their own marketing, and locations do not pass contact details between each other.
6. Extended results and the AI report
The basic measurement overview and history are free in your account.
Beyond that we are preparing extended results — a more detailed explanation of your measured values and an automatically generated text report (the AI report). It is available only while the owner of the measurement has extended results active.
The AI report is machine-generated text based on your measured values. It can contain inaccuracies and never replaces professional advice or a medical examination.
At present we do not sell any paid services through BodyData. When that changes, the price, scope and payment terms will be shown before you order, and you will confirm the purchase separately.
7. What we expect from you
Use the service lawfully and do not interfere with its operation. In particular, you must not:
- create an account for another person without their knowledge, or impersonate someone else,
- attempt to access other people's accounts or results, or parts of the system that are not yours,
- scrape, overload or circumvent the security measures of the service,
- use the content of the service commercially without our agreement.
If you breach these rules, we may restrict access to the account or close it.
8. Minors
People under 18 may use the service with the consent of their legal guardian, where such consent is required by law.
In justified cases we may ask for proof of that consent. If we find that an account was created without the required consent, we may suspend or close it.
9. Availability of the service
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we cannot guarantee it. Operation may be limited by maintenance, updates or circumstances outside our control.
We develop the service continuously. Individual features may change, be added or be withdrawn. If a change would substantially limit what you already have in your account, we will tell you in advance.
10. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time in the privacy section of the portal. You confirm the request with a one-time link from your email, after which a seven-day period runs during which you can still withdraw it.
After that period we delete your measurements, uploaded files and the details that identify you, and we disable the account. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Accounting and tax records must be kept by law even after the account is closed. They remain without your name, under a technical identifier only.
11. Liability
We are responsible for providing the service with professional care and for protecting the data you entrust to us.
We are not responsible for decisions you make on the basis of measured values, or for their health consequences. Results are indicative and affected by many factors — hydration, food, training and time of day.
We are not responsible for how a measurement is carried out at a location, or for the services that location provides to you.
Our liability for damage is governed by Czech law. We do not exclude liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, particularly when the scope of the service or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, together with the date of the last update.
We will notify you of any substantial change by email or in the portal, with reasonable notice. If you do not agree with the change, you can close your account.
13. Governing law and disputes
The relationship between you and us is governed by the law of the Czech Republic.
We will try to resolve any dispute by agreement — write to info@bodydata.cz. If you are a consumer, you may also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) as the body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
